Terms of Service

The binding agreement between you and INDOSABEST LTD covering all three live products and the NIPOST-based marketplace escrow system.

Last Updated: January 2026 10 sections Nigerian law applies
Applies to: Indosabest VAS Indosabest Marketplace

Welcome to INDOSABEST LTD. By creating an account, accessing, or using any of our services, you enter into a binding legal agreement with INDOSABEST LTD, incorporated in Nigeria and operating from 46 Wambai Salihu Street, Azare, Bauchi State.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Indosabest VAS, INDOSA Social, and Indosabest Marketplace — the three products currently live on our platform. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is truthful and accurate.
SECTION 1
Accounts & Registration
One Account Per Person: Each person may hold one active account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse services, evade a ban, or manipulate any feature is prohibited and will result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.
Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Any activity that occurs under your account — including unauthorised transactions — is your responsibility until you notify us of a breach.
Accurate Information: You must provide truthful, current, and complete information during registration. Providing false details — including a false name or phone number — is a breach of these Terms.
KYC Compliance: We may request additional identity verification (BVN, NIN, or government-issued ID) for certain transaction tiers as required by CBN and NCC regulations. Failure to comply will limit your account's transaction capabilities.
SECTION 2
Indosabest VAS — Bill Payments
Indosabest VAS

INDOSABEST Value Added Service is an automated vending platform for Nigerian digital utility services. Our services include:

Airtime (All Networks) Data Bundles Electricity Tokens WAEC / NECO / NABTEB Pins Cable TV (DSTV, GOtv)
User Responsibility for Recipient Details: You are solely responsible for entering correct phone numbers, meter numbers, and smart card numbers. Once a transaction is processed, it cannot be reversed if incorrect details were supplied by you. Double-check every recipient field before confirming.
Automated Delivery: All VAS transactions are processed automatically. Most deliveries are instant. However, delays of up to 24 hours may occur due to upstream provider downtime (MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile, DisCos, exam bodies). We are not responsible for provider-caused delays.
Exam PINs Are Final: Once a WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB PIN is displayed on your screen or sent to your email/SMS, it is considered delivered and used. No refund or exchange is possible regardless of whether you have checked the results yet.
Electricity Token Delays: Electricity token delivery is subject to the relevant Distribution Company's (DisCo's) system availability. In the event of a DisCo system outage, you must wait for the DisCo to either generate the token or provide an official refund reference.
Critical Warning
Transactions sent to wrong phone numbers, meter numbers, or smart card numbers cannot be reversed once processed. INDOSABEST LTD accepts no liability for services delivered to incorrect recipient details you provided.
SECTION 3
INDOSABEST Forum — Community Forum
INDOSABEST Forum
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant INDOSABEST LTD a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and moderate your content on the platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for content retained under our moderation logs policy.
Community Guidelines Apply: All activity on INDOSA Social is governed by the Community Guidelines. Violations — including hate speech, nudity, harassment, and scams — result in enforcement actions up to permanent ban. The Community Guidelines are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
Community Ownership: When you create a community, you become its owner and primary moderator. You accept responsibility for ensuring your community complies with our guidelines. Poorly moderated communities that facilitate violations may be removed.
No Endorsement: User-generated content on INDOSA Social does not represent the views of INDOSABEST LTD. We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the accuracy of posts, opinions, or advice shared by users.
Notifications: The platform may send you notifications about replies, votes, community activity, and moderation decisions. You can manage your notification preferences in your account settings.
SECTION 4
Indosabest Marketplace — P2P Commerce
Indosabest Marketplace

The Indosabest Marketplace is a peer-to-peer commerce platform connecting Nigerian buyers and sellers. INDOSABEST LTD acts as an intermediary and escrow agent — we are not a party to the underlying sale agreement between buyer and seller. All transactions use our NIPOST-validated escrow system to protect both parties.

How Marketplace Transactions Work — NIPOST Escrow Flow
1
Buyer Finds a Listing
The buyer browses the Marketplace and finds a product they want to purchase. They signal interest to the seller.
2
Seller Proposes Shipping Cost
The seller reviews the buyer's delivery location and sends a shipping cost request to the buyer via the platform. The seller is responsible for accurately calculating NIPOST delivery costs to the buyer's location.
3
Buyer Accepts & Pays
The buyer reviews the proposed shipping cost and, if agreed, confirms the total amount (product price + shipping). Payment is deducted from the buyer's INDOSABEST wallet and placed in escrow — held securely by INDOSABEST LTD. The seller does not receive payment yet.
4
Seller Ships via NIPOST
The seller is required to physically deliver the item to their nearest NIPOST office within 48 hours of payment confirmation. After drop-off, the seller must provide the buyer with the official NIPOST tracking ID via the platform. Failure to ship within 48 hours automatically triggers a full refund to the buyer.
5
INDOSABEST Validates Tracking
INDOSABEST LTD submits the NIPOST tracking ID to the NIPOST tracking API to verify that a real shipment exists under that tracking number. If the tracking ID is invalid or fraudulent, the escrow is held and the matter is escalated for investigation. The seller's account is suspended pending review.
6
Delivery Confirmed → Funds Released
Upon NIPOST API confirmation that the package has been delivered to or collected by the buyer, INDOSABEST LTD releases the escrowed funds to the seller's wallet. If delivery fails or the buyer raises a verified dispute, the funds are returned to the buyer. The entire cycle is logged and auditable.
Seller Obligations:
Accurate Listings: All product descriptions, photos, prices, and condition disclosures must be truthful. Misrepresenting a product (selling a fake as genuine, hiding defects) is fraud and will result in account termination and potential referral to the EFCC.
48-Hour Shipping Window: You must drop off the item at a NIPOST office and submit the tracking ID within 48 hours of receiving payment confirmation. Failure to do so triggers an automatic full refund to the buyer.
Proper Packaging: You are responsible for packaging the item securely to withstand postal handling. Items damaged due to poor packaging are either the seller's liability or the NIPOST's liability.
NIPOST Receipt: Retain your NIPOST drop-off receipt. This is your evidence of shipment in the event of a dispute.
Buyer Obligations:
Accurate Delivery Address: Provide a correct and reachable delivery address or NIPOST pick-up location. Delivery failures caused by an incorrect address provided by you are not grounds for a refund.
Timely Collection: If your item is held at a NIPOST office for collection, collect it within the time limit set by NIPOST. Uncollected items returned to the seller will be treated as a failed delivery — you will need to re-negotiate shipping.
Honest Disputes: Do not raise false delivery disputes to obtain a refund on goods that were actually received. False dispute claims are fraud and will result in account termination.
INDOSABEST LTD Role in the Marketplace
We facilitate the transaction and hold funds in escrow. We are not a seller or buyer. We do not inspect, guarantee, or take responsibility for the quality, authenticity, or condition of items sold on the Marketplace. All sales are ultimately between the buyer and seller.
Prohibited Marketplace Items
You may not list or sell: counterfeit goods, illegal items, controlled substances, weapons, live animals, stolen property, pirated media, or any product whose sale is prohibited under Nigerian law. Violations will result in listing removal, account termination, and referral to law enforcement.
SECTION 5
Payments & Pricing
Currency: All transactions on INDOSABEST are denominated in Nigerian Naira (₦). We do not currently support foreign currencies.
Dynamic Pricing (VAS): VAS prices may change without prior notice in response to upstream provider rate changes from MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile, DisCos, or exam bodies. The price shown at the time you confirm a transaction is the binding price.
Price Transparency: All fees, charges, and convenience fees (up to ₦100 on electricity and cable TV) are displayed before you confirm any purchase. You will never be charged more than what was shown at checkout.
Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer and debit/credit card payments (processed by Monnify, Paystack or Flutterwave). Card details are never stored on our servers — they are tokenised by our payment gateway.
Marketplace Escrow: Marketplace payments are held in a secure escrow account and released to sellers only after NIPOST tracking API confirms successful delivery.
SECTION 6

SECTION 7
Prohibited Conduct

The following are prohibited across all INDOSABEST products and will result in immediate account suspension, permanent termination, and/or referral to Nigerian law enforcement agencies:

Fraud & Scams: Operating Ponzi schemes, phishing attacks, fake giveaways, investment fraud, or any other form of financial deception using our platform.
Money Laundering: Using INDOSABEST wallets or Marketplace transactions to conceal, move, or legitimise illicitly obtained funds.
Marketplace Fraud: Submitting false or fabricated NIPOST tracking IDs, shipping empty packages, or misrepresenting goods to deceive buyers.
Automated Abuse: Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to create accounts, manipulate votes, harvest data, or stress-test our systems without authorisation.
System Interference: Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, overload, or otherwise interfere with INDOSABEST's technical infrastructure.
Hate, Threats & Illegal Content: Any content or conduct governed by the INDOSA Social Community Guidelines applies across the entire platform, including Marketplace listings and seller profiles.
SECTION 8
Limitation of Liability

INDOSABEST LTD operates as an authorised intermediary and technology platform. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, we are not liable for:

Provider Downtime: Delays or failures caused by MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile, any DisCo, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NIPOST.
Marketplace Product Quality: The accuracy, authenticity, quality, or condition of items listed and sold by third-party sellers on the Marketplace.
User Error: Transactions completed with incorrect recipient details, wrong meter numbers, or incorrect delivery addresses provided by you.
Third-Party Gateway Failures: Losses or delays arising from failures of Monnify, Paystack, Flutterwave, or any other payment gateway.
Force Majeure: Service interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including power outages, natural disasters, cyberattacks on third-party infrastructure, or government actions.
Maximum Liability Cap
In no event shall INDOSABEST LTD's total liability to you exceed the value of the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages under any circumstance.
SECTION 9
Suspension & Termination
By INDOSABEST: We may suspend or permanently terminate your account — with or without notice — for any material breach of these Terms, violation of our Community Guidelines, or activity that poses a risk to users, the platform, or third parties.
Wallet Balance on Termination: If your account is terminated for a breach you caused (fraud, scam, prohibited conduct), any wallet balance may be forfeited subject to our investigation. If termination is not due to your breach, your wallet balance will be returned to you after identity verification.
By You: You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Closure does not affect any pending transactions or obligations under these Terms that arose before the account was closed.
Survival: Sections relating to liability, prohibited conduct, payments, and data retention survive account closure and continue to apply.
SECTION 10
Governing Law & Changes
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
Updates to These Terms: We may update these Terms as our products evolve or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated via email and a platform notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable by a Nigerian court, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
